Staff Trivia - Mrs Elly Ingleby

Mrs Ingleby is a morning person who doesn’t have a pet but she would like a dog. She sings in St John’s church choir and she is a very good cook – her baking is delicious. If she ruled the world she would make sure that everyone had enough to eat and stamp out crime against children. Her favourite school memory is of when she started school and she was underweight. Every afternoon she had to go for a sleep in the nursery where there was a real coal fire burning. It was really cosy!

When Mrs Ingleby was 21, she was asked to stand in for a friend in a backing group. She was very excited about this and practised continually – unfortunately her career was cut short when the gig was cancelled! Their loss was our gain!
