Staff Trivia- Mrs Rachel Robinson
Mrs Robinson’s favourite school memory is of country dancing on the front lawn at Penshurst Primary School in Hessle and making posies to give to the audience. When she was little she wanted to be a nun, a missionary and a Salvation Army Officer. She was not disappointed with her eventual choice of career! She is definitely a morning person (bright and breezy and watering the garden at 5:50 am!) but likes to go to bed very late – she doesn’t need much sleep. She loves things to be tidy and organised, her passion is growing things (people and plants!) and she is a HUGE fan of two kings – Jesus and Elvis Presley!
Mrs Robinson has a fat ginger cat called Morris who was named after Morrisey from the band called ‘The Smiths’. She loves to sing and she plays the guitar but can also tinkle a simple tune on a few other instruments too. She is a good cook but a better baker – Mr Robinson does all the cooking at home. If she ruled the world she would make everyone LAUGH, LOVE and LISTEN more. She has appeared on ‘Songs of Praise’ and has published poetry in books and magazines. She has several claims to fame as her sister is a writer and her niece is an actress. She has met a few soap actors from the TV, a couple of sporting personalities and even spoken to GARY KEMP! Her worst habit is that she snores very badly and drools all over her pillow – YUK!!!
