Excellent Spreadsheet work.
Years 5 and 6 have been working with spreadsheets using Number Magic and Excel. They had to organise a cafe and used ‘Formula Builder’ to create the correct data in each cell. Can you see how carefully some of them have worked out the difference between the buying in (cost) price and the selling price?
They developed their introduction to spreadsheets work by changing to Excel and trying to plan a party for a total of 25 people (including the host) to a penny perfect budget of £100. Some were so precise that they didn’t spend a penny more, nor a penny less. We’ll let you decide if you think that their selection of food, drink, equipment and entertainment is a balanced one for their guests!
